When self control is lacking, all the other fruits are weakened and can get out of balance. Gentleness can become a doormat, love can become promiscuous, joy can become manic, and so on. Maybe, that is why the Holy Spirit led me to start with self-control. 😆 I had asked myself, ‘why am I starting with self-control?’
